Marxenhof

Variety is the spice of life
Marxenhof farm is not just an organic farm that sticks to Demeter guidelines, it is an 'Ark Farm'. That's because Markus Klammer views the farm as a living organism, with diversity in types and varieties being an important asset. This means that old, rare apple varieties such as red Boskop, Lananer Süßling or Winterzitrone, old pear varieties such as Gute Luise, or Eisacktal Acker damson, which dries while still on the tree, may be found here. And lots of chicken breeds provide eggs with brown or green-blue shells, sport double combs or wavy feathers. This variety is borne out in taste, and guests are pleasantly surprised when they stay in the holiday flats furnished in wood.
